The cast of The Avengers 2 will be appearing at the MTV Movie Awards.
MTV announced that Robert Downey Jr. will be the recipient of the Generations Award, and that fellow Avengers 2 cast members Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner will be with him.
In addition, a new 90-second Avengers 2 clip will be debuting at the MTV Movie Awards.
“Throughout his career, Robert Downey Jr. has mesmerized audiences by capturing the humanity in larger-than-life characters like Charlie Chaplin, Sherlock Holmes and Tony Stark,” said Stephen Friedman, President of MTV, in a statement. “He’s a brilliant actor and a Hollywood icon, and we are proud to recognize his tremendous passion and talent with this year’s Generation Award.”
The MTV Movie Awards take place Sunday, April 12th at 8/7c hosted by Amy Schumer.

Synopsis:
