Game Of Thrones Episode Two: The Lost Lords Launch Trailer

TellTale Games has released a launch trailer for Episode Two of the Game of Thrones video game with “The Lost Lords.”

Info:

House Forrester is in disarray. Their liege lord and his heir are dead, and Ironrath is occupied by Whitehill soldiers. The survival of the family depends upon those who are left. Placed at King’s Landing, the epicenter of intrigue, Mira Forrester must weigh her loyalty to Margaery Tyrell against the needs of her family, while choosing how to play the political games of Tyrion Lannister. One misstep could spell doom for Mira and her entire family. To the far north, Gared Tuttle finds that the wall and its crows hold little love for a squire from the Wolfswood, but finds kinship in the bastard son of Ned Stark. Gared must prove worthy of becoming a ranger in order to carry out the mission given him; one that is vital to the future of those he serves. To the east, Asher Forrester, the exiled son, is called back to Westeros to aid his family, but how can one man help when the Boltons rule the north with an iron fist? Meanwhile, an unexpected source of hope returns to the Forresters, but Ironrath is no place for the weak.

Game Of Thrones Season 5 Trailer Coming To IMAX

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18609:]]

HBO is bringing Game Of Thones to the big screen as the final two episodes of Season 4 will be shown as a “movie.”

In addition, HBO will debut an exclusive new Season 5 trailer for Game Of Thrones with the IMAX showing.

Game Of Thrones will be shown in 150 IMAX theaters nationwide on Friday, January 23rd for one week only.

The episodes will be digitally re-mastered for the IMAX format.

“The cinematic brilliance and grand scope of the series is perfect for the IMAX format,” Pamela Levine, chief marketing officer at HBO, said in a statement.  “We are always looking to provide fans with new and exciting ways to experience the show and viewing two key episodes, along with the new trailer, on such an impressive platform makes for a great event.”

To date, HBO has released only four short teasers for Game Of Thrones Season 5 with one a part of their 2015 preview and the others featured with the Three-Eyed Raven marketing campaign.

“We couldn’t think of a series more fitting than Game of Thrones to be the first presented in IMAX,” Greg Foster, senior executive vice president, IMAX Corp, said. “The scope and production quality of the show is quite remarkable, which will be highlighted even further in select IMAX locations – allowing fans, as never before, to become a part of author George R. R. Martin’s world that [showrunners] David Benioff and D. B. Weiss created for HBO. It has the action, storyline and epic nature that our fans seek in IMAX and we’re thrilled to team with HBO and our longtime partners at Warner Brothers to offer audiences a chance to experience it in the ultimate theatre setting joined by other fans of the series.”

Game Of Thrones Season 5 is expected to air in April.

“IMAX always seeks innovative ways to provide moviegoers a unique and differentiated experience and today’s partnership with HBO and Game of Thrones achieves just that,” said IMAX CEO Richard L. Gelfond. “This deal also furthers our efforts to offer exhibitors the opportunity to participate in alternative forms of content in a new and exciting way. As part of our broader strategy, we will continue to look for one-of-a-kind ways to provide consumers with special IMAX experiences.”
