Showcasing the Scout Regiment as they repel the fearsome Titans threatening humanity, the launch trailer for Attack on Titan officially reveals that players will be able to play beyond the end of the show’s first season via extra game-exclusive missions! Capturing intense, action-packed combat and impressive attack moves, the launch trailer reveals two sinister new types of Titans for players to take down. The Armored Titan, a 50 foot tall behemoth with immense strength and speed can destroy anything in its path, and the monstrous Beast Titan is a gigantic ape-like creature that uses immeasurable amounts of force to crush its foes! These extra missions offer additional high-octane battles and exhilarating action within the Attack on Titan universe.

Scheduled for launch on August 30, 2016, the game will be released on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, as well as digital-only on the PlayStation®Vita handheld system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC via Steam®.

Following the plot-twisting events of the hugely successful anime series Attack on Titan, players will be able to take control of protagonist Eren’s powerful Titan form and get up close and personal with the eerily human-like creatures! Transforming into this titanic beast replaces Eren’s ODM gear and blades with fists. A first English language demo featuring this game-changing ability will be present at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 in Los Angeles from June 14 – 16.

KOEI TECMO America also released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the newly-revealed feature’s unique play-style! This action-packed new trailer features Eren’s explosive transformation, as well as the game’s main playable characters, and focuses on the fast-paced battles, towering Titans, and claustrophobic atmosphere of Attack on Titan.

Omni-Directional Mobility Gear, Blade Replacement, and Methods of Attack Also Detailed

 

KOEI TECMO America today unveiled new details on pre-order bonuses and gameplay for Attack on Titan, the fast-paced action game based on the worldwide anime hit. In addition, new screenshots and two new trailers have been released that showcase the game’s heroes, fearsome Titans and high-octane gameplay that players can look forward to in Attack on Titan! Scheduled for launch on August 30, 2016, Attack on Titan will be available on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and available digitally on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®Vita handheld system and PC via Steam®.

Two bonus costumes are available to those who pre-order Attack on Titan from Amazon, Best Buy, EB Canada and GameStop: the Cleaner’s Weapon and Costume for Eren and Levi as well as Mikasa’s Festival Costume. Those who purchase the game via the PlayStation®Store will receive Attack on Titan avatars to be used for the PlayStation®Network.

An epic action game based on the anime by the same name, Attack on Titan incorporates the claustrophobic atmosphere and iconic, fast-paced battle action of one of the most celebrated new anime IPs of the last few years. Two new trailers have been released to show off the high-octane action within the game, which can be viewed at the following URLs:

The Omni-Directional Mobility Gear is featured as a key gameplay element within Attack on Titan. Players are able to utilize the gear to quickly traverse the environment and to aid them in slaying Titans. However, players will need to monitor their gas tank levels as they use the ODM gear. Gas will deplete as players fly through the environment, though additional gas tanks can be carried to quickly replenish gas levels. In addition, as players fight using their blades their durability will deteriorate. Replacing blades is an important tactic to weakening and slaying the Titans and should be executed quickly to guarantee that effective damage is dealt.

Titans can be weakened by attacking their limbs. As players use the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear to latch onto Titans, they are able to aim at which limb they wish to attack. For the killing blow, players will want to aim for the nape of the Titans neck—their critical weak spot—to ensure optimal damage.

As players fight the Titans they will not be alone. Up to four non-playable characters can be recruited to fight alongside the player, and can be commanded to carry out attacks, offering different ways to approach the oncoming Titans.

Official Release Date Announced for Explosive Action Game Based on the Worldwide Anime Phenomenon

 

KOEI TECMO America is thrilled to reveal a wealth of new information relating to the western release of Omega Force’s highly acclaimed action title, based on the international hit anime series, ‘Attack on Titan’!

Following a successful launch in its native Japan, the eagerly anticipated action game will be released on August 30, 2016 across America under the title, Attack on Titan.

KOEI TECMO also confirmed that Attack on Titan will be available for players to enjoy on a wide selection of consoles and is currently being developed for physical release on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and for digital-only release on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®Vita handheld system and on PC via Steam®.

Attack on Titan closely follows the riveting storyline of the anime’s first season and focuses on the exploits of various key characters, putting the player in a position to relive its most shocking, courageous and exhilarating moments. It revolves around the story of three young people who survive the destruction of their walled city district by enormous, man-eating Titans and eventually go on to join the Scout Regiment in order to protect humanity from this overpowering foe.

While more information about the game’s plot, original content and playable characters will be unveiled in the coming weeks, KOEI TECMO has released the first batch of localized assets, as well as an action-packed trailer that can be accessed here. Koei Tecmo Europe released a new trailer for the Attack on Titan video game with word it will get released in Japan in February. A U.S. release date has yet to be announced. The game will be available for PS3, PS Vita and PS4. [[wysiwyg_imageupload:23051:]]

Koei Tecmo Europe released a new trailer from Omega Force’s eagerly anticipated action title, based on highly acclaimed worldwide anime hit series, Attack on Titan!

This immersive new trailer acts as a reminder of the claustrophobic feel and dark atmosphere of the anime, offers a glimpse of exciting battle action and the use of the famed 3D-maneuver gear,  and encapsulates the overall feel of the yet-to-be-named title, currently planned for release in 2016 in the west.

A new trailer has been released for the Attack on Titan Nintendo 3DS video game with “Features.”

The game will be available this May.

Based on the hit Attack on Titan anime and manga, players will defend the three Walls from invading Titans as a member of the elite Scout Regiment with their omni-directional mobility gear and blades. Based on the upcoming Japanese remake of an earlier Attack on Titan game, Humanity in Chains will be the first Attack on Titan game to reach North American shores, and will release exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS in May 2015 with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles.

The features for  Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains  include:

• Story Mode: As a member of the elite Scout Regiment, defending the outer walls from the Titans will push players to their very limits to save humanity. Enhanced Titan AI behavior will sap every ounce of ability from players as they make a last stand for the human race.

• Familiar Characters, New  Customizations: Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackermann and others will be familiar faces for players as they pick their favorite Scout member to defend the Walls. Several new additions will join the Scout Regiment, customizable with costumes, weapons and voices.

• Online Co-op Mode: Defend the outer walls with up to three friends in the all-new online co-op mode with ranking and leaderboards.

• Fresh Look: Updates to the UI, improvements in gameplay balance and support for the Circle Pad Pro and the New Nintendo 3DS XL system’s C-Stick take Humanity in Chains to the next level.

Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains will be available in North America and Europe exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS this May. Release timing, pricing, and additional details will be made available at a later date.
