Nickel City Con INVADES the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center THIS WEEKEND!
Dave & Adam’s introduces Nickel City Con this Saturday, August 13th from 10:00am-7:00pm and Sunday, August 14th from 10:00am-5:00pm at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center! This family friendly comic con will feature celebrity guests from the entertainment world, including movies, sports, TV and comic books.
Celebrity guests scheduled to appear include WWE Legend and 16-time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair, actor Brett Dalton from the hit TV program Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., actor Sean Astin from the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Rudy, actor Chris McDonald from Happy Gilmore, legendary comic book artist Neal Adams and the actor and martial artist that portrayed Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode 1, Ray Park. Additional celebrity guests will include stars from Comic Book Men, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, The Magicians, and Supernatural.
Nickel City Con will be loads of fun for all ages!
Come dressed in costume to win prizes at our Cosplay Contests!
Saturday – Adult Cosplay Contest -5:00pm
(Registration 10:00am-4:30pm for Age 16+)
Sunday – Kids Cosplay Contest – 3:00pm
(Registration 10:00am-2:30pm for Age 3-15)
Kids can also play FREE board games in our open play gaming room as well as enter for FREE into a “Pokemon Go” event where they can win cash prizes!
Nickel City Con will have 133 vendors, artists and celebrity guests! Also scheduled to appear are Sabretooth and Billy Buffalo, The North Ridge Star Wars group and The Buffalo Ghostbusters.
Certified Guaranty Company will be on site taking submissions for comic book grading and offering signature series services. Legendary comic book buyer Mike Carbonaro will be on site doing comic book appraisals.
Autographs, photo ops, and Q&A panels with your favorite stars will be available. Tickets are going fast and are only $15.00 per day or $12.00 at any Dave & Adam’s retail store. (Kids 2 and under are free).
