Space Pirate: Captain Harlock will be available on Digital HD and DVD on March 31st. 

Synopsis:

2977: For many years a mighty battle has been raging across the galaxies as 500 billion humans, whose forebears were exiled from Earth, plan to return to what is still called home. Forced to flee a ravaged Earth, humans have now depleted the corners of the galaxy to which they fled. Earth has now become the most valued and precious resource of all, controlled by the corrupt Gaia Coalition which governs the human race across the different galaxies. The trailer was developed with the assistance of the Irish Film Board and looks to be a SF take on Moby Dick.

The full trailer for the crowd-source-funded sci-fi comedy, Lazer Team, has been released.

The movie sees four unlikely heroes having to save the planet after discovering alien technology.

Lazer Team is directed by Matt Hullum starring Burnie Burns, Gavin Free, Michael Jones, Colton Dunn, Alexandria DeBerry and Alan Ritchson (TMNT, Hunger Games).

The movie has a 2015 release date.

Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudky took to crowd-funding to kickstart the Con Man web series, and now a first trailer has been released.

Synopsis:

Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk-Me!) was a co-star on Spectrum, a sci-fi series which was canceled -Too Soon- yet became a cult classic. Wray’s good friend, Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) starred in the series and has gone on to become a major movie star. While Jack enjoys the life of an A-lister, Wray tours the sci-fi circuit as a guest of conventions, comic book stores, and lots of pop culture events. The show will feature all the weird and crazy things that happen to Wray along the way to these events.

The series is a light-hearted take on the personalities, luminaries, and characters in the sci­-fi community we are privileged to call ourselves members. Con Man is a way to share some of the surreal occurrences we have had, while telling the story of a guy learning to love and embrace his fans.

I wanted to make a show that featured all of my favorite convention artists and friends together. Not only that, I wanted to celebrate the world where heroes, villains, zombie hunters, and space pirates all overlap. I especially wanted to work with my friend Nathan Fillion again.

Disney released a second trailer for the new Pixar animated movie, Inside Out.

Inside Out has a June 19, 2015 release starring the voice talents of Amy Poehler, Diane Lane, Mindy Kaling, Laraine Newman and Bill Hader.
