A group of teenagers are unable to escape the abandoned school they are exploring and must deal with an angry ghost who has possessed the virgin in the group; a couple deals with the consequences of cutting down a Christmas tree in the woods when it becomes clear that their child has been possessed by a demon; and a long-haired Santa must use an ax to fight off his elves who have suddenly become flesh-eating living dead.  

With eggnog and a bottle of hard liquor in hand, William Shatner takes over the airwaves of the town (think radio personality Grant Mazzy in Bruce McDonald’s 2008 psychological thriller PONTYPOOL), weaving the events of the evening together until we reach the terrifying conclusion.

Synopsis:

From Warner Bros. Synopsis:

Eren and the others set out on a mission to restore the Wall that had been destroyed by a colossal Titan, but they’re suddenly faced with a quagmire when they’re attacked by a horde of Titans. Shikishima, the Titan-slaying captain of the Scout Regiment, arrives to save the day, but the Titans show no sign of letting up. During the battle, Eren is badly injured, and in the process of saving his friend Armin, he?s swallowed whole by a Titan. Just as all hope seems to be lost, a mysterious Titan with black hair suddenly appears and begins annihilating the other Titans.

A new trailer has been released for Knock Knock, the upcoming erotic sex horror thriller from director Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel, Hemlock Grove) and Lionsgate, which stars Keanu Reeves.

Watch: Green Lantern Corps Trailer With Idris Elba & Garrett Hedlund (Fan-Made)

The Alex Luthor YouTube channel is back with another cool video as this time a Green Lanter Corps trailer is presented featuring Idris Elba and Garret Hedlud.

The trailer uses footage from Green Lantern, TRON: Legacy, Pacific Rim, John Carter and more, and looks pretty good.

We still have a while to wait for Green Lantern Corps, as the movie is set to be released in 2020, but perhaps we won’t have to wait that long as it’s possible a Green Lantern may be featured in the Justice League movie, which hits in 2017.

About a year ago saw Idris Elba comment on Green Lantern John Stewart fan art of himself stating he loves the idea.

Idris Elba is currently filming Star Trek Beyond; Garret Hedlund is featured in Pan with Hugh Jackman and was set to reprise for the third Tron movie, but Disney recently abruptly cancelled the project.

The Iron Giant: Signature Edition Trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures and Fathom Events are excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for the animated action adventure “The Iron Giant,” being re-released in theaters for a limited engagement this fall, remastered and enhanced with two all-new scenes as “The Iron Giant: Signature Edition.” This special screening comes to U.S. movie theaters on Wednesday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. local time, with an encore event in select markets on Sunday, October 4 at 12:00 p.m. local time.

And the world soon learned another “giant” had arrived as well: filmmaker Brad Bird, who made his stunning directorial debut with this film and has gone on to win two Oscars, as well as worldwide acclaim for his work on both animated and live-action features.

Winner of nine Annie Awards, “The Iron Giant” is the tale of an unlikely friendship between a rebellious boy named Hogarth (voiced by Eli Marienthal) and a giant robot, voiced by a then little-known actor named Vin Diesel. The voice cast also included Jennifer Aniston and Harry Connick Jr.

Directed by Brad Bird, “The Iron Giant” was produced by Allison Abbate and Des McAnuff, adapted from poet Ted Hughes’ book, The Iron Man, with the screen story by Bird and the screenplay written by Tim McCanlies and Brad Bird. “The Iron Giant” was first released in the summer of 1999 by Warner Bros.

Following the re-release in theaters, a high-definition version of “The Iron Giant: Signature Edition” will be available to purchase from digital retailers in the fall of 2015.

Watch: New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teaser

A short new teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been released on Instagra, which can be viewed above.

The teaser features  Rey (Daisy Ridley) and new droid BB-8, as well as Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and new footage of Finn (John Boyega) wielding a lightsaber.

Legendary Star Wars poster artist Drew Stuzan previously gave us our first look at Finn with the lightsaber.

JJ Abrams also recently revealed spoiler-ific details about the First Order Stormtroopers and villains in the movie.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.
