[page_title]

It’s confirmed Michael Biehn will be reprising as Hicks for the new Neill Blomkamp Alien film.

The actor confirmed the news on Instagram when responding to a fan’s question about attending the Sheffield Comic-Con.

thank you very much for the support, and I’m now looking at scheduling conflicts with the Sheffield Comic Con, due to my contract for Aliens to begin filming during then, but I hope I can make it out to UK and it’s famous ‘Pubs’.

In addition to Biehn, Sigourney Weaver will return as well.

Previously released concept art featured both Michael Biehn and Sigourney Weaver, which helped to get the movie greenlit by Fox.

No specific plot details have been made known, but Blomkamp has stated his new Alien movie will be the “genetic sibling of Aliens,” and at the same time, won’t undo the events from the two previous Alien movies.

The untitled Alien movie is due for release in 2017.

Meet Sally. Sally meet Michael. Michael meet Instagram! I was approached by Sally, asked for a photo (obviously), whilst browsing down the streets doing the old “I used to be famous!” routine. She asked me if I had Instagram and Twitter and if I was active on them with information regarding #alien because she is not very trusting to what the internet says. She then said the best way to get “the old timey’s” such as herself to notice me was to get you current amazing 15 loyal followers to start talking about me, and in return, she presented me with the idea of doing a Question and Answer on The 1st of April! So get chatting with your fellow Instagram buddies or however this social presentation works! And get them checking out my Instagram page and pitch in on the Question and Answer on The 1st of April regarding to any project, any experience or any random personal fact you want to ask me about! Thanks! #followhicks
