Marvel’s Inhumans Ratings Tank

Marvel's Inhumans Ratings

Marvel TV and IMAX’s Inhumans sees another drop in ratings and viewership giving the series an all-time low.

Last night’s episode of Marvel’s Inhumans drew in 1.98 million viewers with a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 age group demographic.

The week prior had 2.3 million people tuning in, with the previous episode before that bringing in 2.78 million viewers, and the 2-hour two-episode premiere drew in 3.75 million viewers.

So we see it’s close to almost a 50% drop from the premiere episode.

The poor ratings are no surprise as the ratings reflect the poor quality of the show.

More than likely, as expected, Marvel’s Inhumans will be a one-and-done and won’t be getting a second season. Judging by the writing and special effects, it doesn’t seem as if Marvel TV is too interested in the series to begin with, so unless there are some pretty big changes by Disney and ABC, this series will be forgotten–and the sooner the better.

If IMAX ever wants to do something similar, which is funding a series to fill in the end-of-Summer gap at the movies, they might be better off pairing with Warner Bros. I wouldn’t mind seeing two episodes of The Flash on IMAX or even Supernatural
