Marvel’s Agatha Changes Title For Fourth Time

Marvel’s Agatha Changes Title For Fourth Time

In a sure sign of “confidence,” Marvel has apparently changed the title to the upcoming Agatha series for a fourth time.

Originally announced as Agatha: House of Harkness, then it was changed to Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and just recently, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.

Now the title is said to be Agatha All Along which references the popular jingle from the WandaVision series.

So, it’s been… Agatha All Along? Get it?

Update: Marvel has again changed the title.

Does the title change reflect the tone?

I think the three previous titles sound a bit more on the dark and serious side. However, referencing the song from WandaVision seems to indicate the tone of the show won’t be as dark, almost to the point of being goofy.

With the release of the WandaVision Blu-Ray, Marvel also debuted a first look at the series. Watch below.

Kathryn Hahn is back as Agatha Harkness. Aubrey Plaza plays Rio. The series also stars Joe Locke, Patti LuPone as Lilia, Sasheer Zamata as Jen K, and Ali Ahn as Alice, with Emma Caulfield Ford, Maria Dizzia, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili.

A leaked description for the first episode offers that we see Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) finally breaking out of a spell she has been trapped in. She can’t wait to go back to her old murderous ways only to find that she is powerless. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous quest to get her powers back with the help of an unlikely friend or two.
