Marvel’s Vision Series A Go For Disney+

Marvel’s Vision Series A Go For Disney+

The long-rumored Vision series if finally happening by Marvel for Disney+ which will see Paul Bettany reprise the character.

The details include Star Trek: Picard showrunner Terry Matalas will serve as showrunner on the new Vision series who is also known for MacGyver and 12 Monkeys.

Matalas confirmed the news in a series of retweets.

According to the trades, the Vision series will be released on Disney+ in 2026.

White Vision Marvel

Previously referred to as Vision Quest, the last we saw of Paul Bettany as the Vision was in WandaVision where the Scarlet Witch brought him back as her husband and the father to her children.

However, SWORD would use Vision’s dead body to create a second “white” version to take out Wanda’s version, where at the end of WandaVision, the two battled but came to an understanding where Wanda’s version passed his memories on to White Vision who ended up flying away.

So the Disney Plus Vison Quest series will follow WandaVision and possibly also feature Elizabeth Olsen who seemingly died in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse Of Madness.

Though Bob Iger has announced Disney is pulling back on Marvel content, that doesn’t mean Disney is putting out no content, they’re reducing content. So, for example, instead of four MCU shows a year on Disney, there might only be two.
