With the earlier news of the drama surrounding Suicide Squad that includes mention of multiple edits, now it’s learned WB cut out a lot of Jared Leto Joker scenes from the movie.
“Oh, there are a lot of scenes,” Leto responded when asked if there was a scene that didn’t make it into the final cut. “Yeah, there are a lot of scenes that didn’t make it to the final film. Hopefully they’ll see the light of day. Who knows,” Leto told Telestar.
Leto also confirmed he’ll be back as The Joker in more movies.
“I learned a lot about the Joker the more that I worked on the character, and I think that’s probably going to continue to happen,” Leto said.
Leto also offered playing The Joker “is the most fun I’ve ever had with a character” and that “it was an honor to get asked to play the part.”
Update: One of the Joker cut scenes has become known, and it’s a pretty big scene.
