Filmmaker Robert Rodriguez moderated a panel for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, featuring Gimple, executive producer showrunner David Zabel, director and executive producer Greg Nicotero, executive producersand stars Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, and cast member Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, who discussed the show’s epic second season, currently airing Sundays on AMC and AMC+. The opening minutes of the season’s fourth episode, premiering this Sunday, October 20 at 9 pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+, were shown in-room.
The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2 NYCC Trailer
The Walking Dead: Dead City season two panel featured the Walking Dead Universe Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple, executive producersand stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan,and cast members Gaius Charles, Željko Ivanek and Dascha Polanco and wasmoderated by Chris Jericho (eight-time World Champion, Killed By Art The Clown in the number one movie in America, Terrifier 3, and New York Times bestseller). During the panel, which debuted a new season two teaser and photography, it was announced that the highly anticipated second season will return in Spring 2025 on AMC and AMC+
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Arrives on PC January 2025!
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming to PC on January 30, 2025. Revealed at Marvel’s stage during New York Comic Con, the game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store, with preorders now open.
The PC version is developed by Nixxes Software in collaboration with Insomniac Games and Marvel Games. Expect enhanced features like improved ray tracing, new suits, and more.

New Star Wars: Jedi Knights Comic Series Announced
Just announced at NYCC 2024! Marvel revealed an all-new comic series, Star Wars: Jedi Knights, during the Lucasfilm Publishing: Star Wars panel. Launching this March, the series is written by Emmy Award-winning Marc Guggenheim and illustrated by Madibek Musabekov.
Set before The Phantom Menace, the series will showcase iconic Jedi like Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Mace Windu, along with all-new characters. Each issue will feature different Jedi duos tackling missions across the galaxy, tied together by an overarching threat.
Editor Mark Paniccia promises “action-packed issues” and “more lightsaber action than ever before.” Look out for Star Wars: Jedi Knights #1, with covers by Rahzzah and special Lightsaber Foil Variants by Taurin Clarke, on sale March 2025.
Dune: Prophecy Fan Experience Launches at NYCC 2024
Max has launched the Dune: Prophecy Experience at New York Comic Con, celebrating the upcoming HBO Original series co-produced with Legendary Television. The interactive activation, running through October 20 at Mediapro Studios Manhattan, transports fans to the world of Wallach IX, where they face trials reflecting the Sisterhood’s training. Successful participants earn exclusive NYCC swag.
With immersive design, live interactions, and directional sound, fans are drawn into the world of Dune, guided by the iconic “Voice.” The experience runs throughout the NYCC weekend.
Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 Poster, Release Date Revealed At NYCC
Universal Pictures and Blumhouse released the first Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 poster at the New York Comic-Con.
The film gets released December 5, 2025. The first movie made nearly $300 million and was released at the same time in theaters and on the Peacock streaming service. Emma Tammi is returning to direct.

Wolfman Trailer Released At NYCC
Universal Studios released the Wolfman trailer at the New York Comic-Con.
“The transformation begins,” teases the video description.
Wolfman gets released on Jan. 17, 2025 and stars Christopher Abbot, Julia Garner, Sam Jaeger, and Matilda Firth. Leigh Whannell directs.
Dragon Ball DAIMA Unveiled at NYCC 2024: English Cast and New Announcements
During an exclusive panel at New York Comic Con, Dragon Ball DAIMA was unveiled, with key announcements including the English cast. Stephanie Nadolny returns as the voice of Goku (Mini), and Aaron Dismuke joins as the new character, Glorio. Fans were treated to a video message from Zedd, who produced the opening and ending themes, and a heartfelt message from Masako Nozawa, the original Japanese voice of Goku, as well as the first episode.
The panel, led by executive producer Akio Iyoku, revealed exclusive illustrations by creator Akira Toriyama, alongside new settings and characters. The first episode was screened, with streaming details to follow on Dragon Ball DAIMA’s website. Episodes 1-3 will premiere in U.S. and Canadian theaters from November 10-12.
SpongeBob SquarePants Celebrates 25th Anniversary at NYCC 2024
Nickelodeon hosted a milestone panel at NYCC, featuring the legendary voice cast of SpongeBob SquarePants and executive producers Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller. The panel celebrated the show’s 25th anniversary with announcements, including the renewal of The Patrick Star Show for seasons 4 and 5, and clips from upcoming specials: SpongeBob SquarePants: Snow Yellow (premiering in November) and SpongeBob & Sandy’s Country Christmas (debuting in December). Fans also enjoyed live scene readings from classic episodes like “Band Geeks” and “Scaredy Pants.”
Peacock’s Hysteria! Sneak Preview and Panel at NYCC
On Thursday, October 17, Peacock hosted a sneak preview of Hysteria!, showing the first episode and featuring a panel with stars Julie Bowen, Anna Camp, and Bruce Campbell, along with showrunners Matthew Scott Kane and David A. Goodman. The panel, moderated by Chris Killian, explored the show’s 1980s setting, inspirations, and what fans can expect. The series, set during the “Satanic Panic,” follows a heavy metal band caught in a supernatural mystery. Hysteria! premieres October 18, 2024, on Peacock.
