Josh Brolin will be suiting up as the Mad Titan for Avengers 3 and Avengers 4 â maybe even before that â and Movie Fone caught up with the actor who talked about the movies as well as Thanos.
Brolin says he is pretty psyched what he has been told so far:
âAvengers: Infinity Warâ is going to be a singular film experience that youâre going to be asked to talk about most likely to the end of your days. So, tell me, where are you now as far as your anticipation, your excitement, for the whole thing, and to go fully into character rather than these cameos that youâve done?
Yeah, I sat at a table and I listened to the story from beginning to end, which was ⊠you know, sometimes you go around and you go, âOh, itâs a great movie. Or this is a great experience,â and you kind of know that itâs not. This is the opposite.
First of all, from a publicity point of view, or an interest, Iâve gotten more publicity playing Thanos, even though I havenât done it yet, than all other movies combined. If thereâs any blurb of publicity at all for me, it includes Thanos in some way or another. âBy the way, heâs got âHail, Caesar!â coming out. But donât forget about Thanos â thatâs coming out,â which is amazing, which is really cool.
Then the other side of it is really how much it means to people. It all comes down ⊠these stories ⊠these Avengers stories all come down to this conclusion, and thatâs our involvement. Basically, my character against everybody. And itâs really fun what theyâve chosen to do with the story. I think itâs brilliant, personally. I was blown away, and had goose pimples pretty much 50% of the time that I was listening to what was going on, and pretty amazed that Iâm going to be involved in it. So itâs a big thing thatâs coming up.
