House of the Dragon Episode 3 is epic

Regarding Episode 3, wow, what a good one as it is not only full of awesome action but the “game of thrones” the series is known for.

While they celebrated the young Prince Aegon by killing the stag, Rhaenyra happens to make a killing of her own, a wild boar, which while not intentional (unless intentional at the hands of the gods?) signaled she isn’t going to give up the crown, even though she is told that isn’t going to happen, but we all know that is where the series is headed.

The end of Episode 3 finally sees King Viserys offering aid to his brother Prince Daemon, fabulously played by Matt Smith, but when the Viserys’ knight delivers the news, Daemon is none too happy, for some reason. The ending is incredible.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood, the series House of the Dragon takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of House Targaryen.

House of the Dragon airs weekly on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and HBO Max leading up to the big finale on October 23. The series has already been renewed as Season 2 is greenlit.
