Henry Cavill returns as Superman sporting the black Superman suit in the first clip revealed for the Snyder Cut of the Justice League movie coming to the HBO Max streaming service next year.
The clip features Henry Cavill as Superman wearing the black suit landing and meeting Alfred for the first time.
"Assuming you're Alfred," says Superman with a smile as Alfred is in awe.
Director Zack Snyder's voice can also be heard: "I'm looking over there."
Zack revealed the clip as part of attending a special fan event, JusticeCon, where he spoke about the Snyder Cut and revealed that a teaser will be released next month at the DC FanDome virtual con.
Regarding the Henry Cavill Black Superman suit scene, Snyder said:
"I thought we are going to see it in all its massively glorious action, a nice slow walk up might be nice way to see it for the first time. Also an inonic meeting. Of course there is much more to the scene. I just gave you that little taste of it. I also know this bit was finished. After the movie was done and I was away from it they went back into scenes that I had done because you guys were making so much noise on the internet about the Snyder Cut, they're like, 'Oh, we should put some deleted scenes into the movie.' So that scene, without asking me, they just put it on... They didn't care. It is what it is.
Of course, it's not final color or anything like that. The guys were looking at some visual effects the other day and that shot came up. I looked at it and was like, 'Give me that shot! Give it to me. I know where I can shot that. Some people will appreciate seeing that.' It's got kind of a charcoal kind of quality to it. It's still got a little bit of detail which I'm obsessed with. I didn't want it too crunched down. It's only going to get better."
The Snyder Cut teaser coming to DC FanDome, Snyder said:
"I will tell you guys, that there is at FanDome, there will be more footage. So you can look forward to that."
