Could Guardians of the Galaxy be an even bigger franchise than Marvel’s mighty Avengers movies?
Presesntly, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is beating The Avengers: Age Of Ultron in advance ticket sales.
It’s even being said that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 could open above $150m.
It’s noted that since April 24th, Fandango is reporting that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has been the No. 1 ticket seller every day and is outpacing advance sales of Avengers: Age Of Ultron at this point, which went on to have the fourth-best domestic opening of all-time with $191.3 million; so as of now, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 could be on a similar or even better path.
The report mentions that fans are excited about having seen the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 having a strong emphasis on female action heroes, having Kurt Russell in the movie as Star-Lord’s father, and with news of there being five Guardians of the Galxay 2 post-credit scenes, fans are super excited to stick around through the entire credits.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 also has a current 86% favorable critic response on Rotten Tomatoes with 95 “fresh” and 16 “rotten.” 99% of fans want to see it.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 opens this Thursday with advance screenings and officially on Friday. Tickets are on sale!
