With Marvel Studios having skipped out on last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, it’s been wondered if they would be returning this year.

While James Gunn seemingly teased Guardians of the Galaxy 2 might make an appearance at the SDCC, we now have confirmation that Marvel Studios and Doctor Strange will be in attendance at Comic-Con.

Director Scott Derrickson replied to a fan on Twitter when asked if Doctor Strange will be at the SDCC by offering an image of a Comic-Con/Doctor Strange light post banner (see above).

“Will I be at Comic Con this year? Here’s a hint,” Derrickson tweeted.

Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce their line-up, but we’ll be sure to let you know when it’s available.

In addition to Doctor Strange and most likely Guardians of the Galaxy 2, it’s possible Marvel could bring in Tom Holland for Spider-Man: Homecoming and maybe something for Thor: Ragnarok.

Doctor Strange hits November 4, 2016; Guardians of the Galaxy 2 gets released May 5, 2017; Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7, 2017, and Thor: Ragnarok has a November 3, 2017 release.
