Contrary to all the Batman Vs. Superman rumors, Justice League is still moving forward, and it starts filming in April.
EW.com reveals Zack Snyder stars shooting Justice League on April 11th.
“The idea that we could begin to boot up a Justice League concept was a cool thing,” Snyder said. “It was a little bit of an ‘about time’ moment, and I don’t blame [the studio] for feeling that way, because it’s a long time coming. But I do feel like it’s a little bit of a creative hurdle. It seems like an easy thing to do at first glance, the idea that, ‘Oh, we just get the rest of the superheroes in there.’ But you have to [establish] a world where they can exist.”
Justice League will start filming two weeks following the March 25th debut of Batman Vs. Superman. The article notes Snyder is already prepping Justice League in the UK.
“The studio really wants us to try and pace it up, as far as —now we have an idea where we’re going,” Snyder said.
Batman Vs. Superman hits March 25; Suicide Squad on August 5, and Wonder Woman gets released June 23, 2017.
Justice League – Part 1 has a November 17, 2017 release date.
Update: Zack Snyder has released an image of himself with Jason Momoa and the Justice League costumes.
