It was recently learned that as a result of Captain America: Civil War, Steve Rogers has stopped being Captain America.
In the comics, Steve Rogers becomes Nomad (“man without a country”) after he abandons the Captain America costume and title.
Now with the release of the Captain America: Civil War Blu-Ray on VOD, director Joe Russo and writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely seemingly tease Nomad.
Joe: I cannot wait to put Chris Evans in the Nomad outfit.
McFeely: He just got back from his fitting, right?
Markus: Yeah, you cut it all the way down to the bellybutton.
Joe: Yeah. No, it went past the navel.
Markus: Just a hint of things to come down there.
Joe: There is a lot of character in that chest of Chris’s.
Obviously the trio are poking a little fun at the Nomad costume, but perhaps we’ll get a Marvel Studios update on the dark blue and yellow Nomad costume from the comics. Steve Rogers, in the comics, becomes Nomad after talking with Hawkeye and realizing he still needs to serve and help his country without supporting the government.
Maybe we’ll see Chris Evans as Nomad in The Avengers: Infinity War?
