Today sees a new Captain Marvel trailer drop during the NCAA championship football game on ESPN.
Check out the above announcement teaser which confirms the exclusive footage, followed by the two most recent spots and Captain Marvel trailer.
The game kicks off at 8 p.m EST from Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA featuring No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 2 Clemson.
It’s possible the exclusive Captain Marvel footage may be released around half-time, which could be between 9:30-10pm EST.
More than likely it will be released online at the same time, so we’ll have it up here at Cosmic Book News.
Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, the film is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film has a March 8, 2019 release directed by the writing/directing team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and stars Academy Award winner Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
