We get a cool new look at the Xenomorph in a behind-the-scenes teaser for the upcoming Alien: Earth TV series at FX which shows off the practical effects.
The video surfaces from The Joelsons, the production team who were responsible for the first Alien: Earth teaser released in September.
The footage plays to Metallica’s “Sad But True” and shows an actor wearing the Xenomorph suit and how they filmed the scene where the inner mouth shoots out. Watch below.

“Scary” New Xenomorph
Series creator Noah Hawley appeared at The Emmy’s in September and talked up the series.
“It’s an epic production. There’s something about seeing a Xenomorph in the wilds of Earth with your own eyes that is truly chilling to think of it moving here among us. So I can’t tell you under what circumstances you’ll see that, but you’ll see it — and you’re going to lock your door that night.”
“What was really fun for me was to be able to engage with the creature, and bring some of my own thoughts to its design while not touching the silhouette, because that’s sacrosanct.”
“But some of the elements, as we know, whatever the host is informs what the final creature is. I just wanted to play around a little bit to make it as scary as I thought it could be.”
