20th Century Fox releases the trailer and poster for Ad Astra, which stars Brad Pitt as Astronaut Roy McBride.

The movie follows Brad Pitt as he travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.

Ad Astra has a September 20, 2019 release directed by James Gray, written by Gray and Ethan Gross, produced by Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, James Gray, Anthony Katagas, Rodrigo Teixeira, and Arnon Milchan, and also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland.
