The Avengers actor Chris Evans is sending a real Captain America shield to the boy who saved his sister from a dog attack.
The six-year-old boy’s aunt posted a video message on Instagram from the Marvel actor.
“This is a message for Bridger. Hey, Bridger. Captain America here. How you doing, buddy? So I read your story. I saw what you did. I am sure you heard a lot of this in the last couple of days, but let me be the next to tell you, pal, you’re a hero, what you did was so brave, so selfless, your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you,” Evans said. “I am going to track down your address and send you an authentic Captain America shield because, pal, you deserve it.”
Chris Evans continued: “Keep being the man you are. We need people like you. Hang in there. I know recovery might be tough but based on what I seen, I don’t think there’s much that can slow you down. Bye, buddy.”
Last week Thursday, July 9, the young Bridger saved his sister’s life when a dog attacked her. Bridger saved her by “standing between her and a charging dog” as explained by his aunt, which saw Bridger receive 90 stitches after getting bitten by the dog.
Bridger is also a fan of Spider-Man. See below.
