It’s been reported that Warner Bros. held a test screening of James Wan’s Aquaman movie, and now it’s being described as a “grand epic” and more.
Reactions about the Aquaman test screening have been hitting Twitter, with the Aquaman Shrine fan site claiming the following:
“It ambitious: tons of action, adventure & suspense. A grand epic full of cool characters & comic book moments amped x1000 by James Wan. Momoa pulls off Arthur Curry the man and the hero he becomes. Its all about the ties that bind. Mera, Black Manta & Orm ALL amaze!

Other sources are reported to have had similar reactions, so cross your fingers that James Wan gets the Aquaman movie right.
Aquaman is less than a year away and WB still has yet to release the first teaser trailer. I wonder if they will wait for this Summer’s Comic-Con or maybe release an Aquaman trailer attached to next month’s Tomb Raider or Ready Player One? Dwayne Johnson’s Rampage movie could be another option in April.
Aquaman has a December 21, 2018 release starring Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm the Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, with Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father, Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman is playing the mother to Aquaman, Queen Atlanna, and Dolph Ludgren is King Nereus.
