Following the news that Marvel is in full control of Spider-Man, now it’s being rumored that Vulture may be a villain of the reboot.

The info comes out of CinemaCon where Birth.Movies.Death claims they spoke with someone who not only mentioned Vulture will be in the film, but confirmed the earlier report that the Spider-man reboot is using the working title “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

It’s unknown if Vulture will be the main villain, but it’s said Vulture is in the movie, with it said Vulture may be used as a non-main villain role (meaning another character will play the main villain).

It’s also further suggested “Spider-Man: Homecoming” may be the actual title.

Originally, Sam Raimi wanted to use Vulture, but the producers on the Spider-Man movies wouldn’t let him which led to Venom being used. Those producers are no longer a part of the Marvel Spider-Man movies, but did recently state they plan on doing their own Venom franchise unrelated to Marvel’s Spidey.

The Spider-Man reboot has a July 7, 2017 release directed by Jon Watts starring Tom Holland.
