Guardians of the Galaxy Vs. Avengers!
It’s on!
With the Guardians of the Galaxy slated to appear in The Avengers: Infinity War, we might see Marvel Cosmic take on Marvel Street-Level!
In a recent interview, Kevin Feige is asked by Fandango if we’ll get to see Guardians of the Galaxy vs Avengers in Infinity War prior to the battle with Thanos.
Obviously Feige isn’t going to spoil things, but the article notes Feige chuckled before teasing, “All things are possible…”
Likewise, David Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroyer, offered up, “When we come on to set of The Avengers [Infinity War] as the Guardians, we are the Guardians. And anybody stepping on to set with us has to deal with all of us.”
Bautista, no stranger to conflict himself as he also happens to be a WWE Superstar, further said The Avengers should be intimated by the Guardians!
“They are usually one or two Avengers [on set]. We are The Guardians, and we come as that and carry a scene as that. We do business as usual, which is a lot of chemistry, a lot of interaction amongst ourselves, and the Russo’s were very encouraging of that,” Bautista said. “So it’s like, ‘Are they intimated by walking on set with us?’”
Regarding if the Guardians of the Galaxy ever did battle with the Avengers, which side would you go with?
Hmmm… I’d probably stick Star-Lord on Iron Man; Gamora on Captain America; probably Rocket and Groot against the Hulk; I would have Drax battle Thor; probably Nebula vs. Black Widow; Mantis vs Scarlet Witch, and Yondu vs Hawkeye.
If the Guardians of the Galaxy ended up with any Marvel Cosmic heavyweights like Nova or Quasar, the Avengers would be in big trouble!
