Tickets for the midnight screenings for The Avengers go on sale in select cities, with tickets already on sale in certain countries. In addition, if you are one of the first Assemblers to see the movie, you may score a free movie poster.
This would be for the 12am May 3rd/4th time slot.
Just which cities tickets will be going on sale for is currently unknown, so you may want to check one of the big ticket outlets some time tomorrow.
It will be interesting to see how many of these show up on eBay, as tickets for this summer’s other blockbuster, The Dark Knight Rises, have fetched a couple hundred.

The Avengers assembles May 4th, 2012 and is directed by Joss Whedon, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
