Agent Carter & Hayley Atwell Speculated For Avengers 4

Agent Carter and Hayley Atwell may be returning to the MCU with The Avengers 4 as it’s been learned that a scene in Avengers 4 will apparently be set in the 1960s.

A casting call has gone out “looking for women who appear to be Caucasian, 20s-50s, to portray 1960s secretaries/clerks.” It is noted the role is for a “Very small scene,” so if it is for Agent Carter, it looks to be basically a cameo appearance by Hayley Atwell in Avengers 4.

Hayley Atwell actually did pay a visit to Marvel Studios in July as The Avengers 4 producer Louis D’Esposito posted images on Twitter.

If not Hayley Atwell, another possibility for the 1960s in The Avengers 4 could always have something to do with Doctor Strange, the current holder of the Infinity Stone that controls time. Perhaps the Avengers try to escape the wrath of Thanos by time traveling?

Word of Agent Carter and Hayley Atwell possibly returning to the MCU for Avengers 4 follows the news of Samuel L. Jackson returning to the MCU as Nick Fury for the Captain Marvel movie, and a SHIELD agent looks to be appearing in Ant-Man and the Wasp with Agent Jimmy Woo. Maybe Agent Phil Coulson is right around the corner?

The Avengers 4 has a May 3, 2019 release, with The Avengers: Infinity War hitting a year prior on May 4, 2018 directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
