Gina Carano has joined the cast of Deadpool and will play Angel Dust.
THR reports the news, but little is known exactly how the character will fit in the movie. In the Marvel comics, Angel Dust is a member of the Morlocks, a group of outcast mutants that lives underground in the sewers.Â
The powers for Angel Dust include the ability to increase her adrenaline which gives her enhanced superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability and endurance.
The report also mentions Gina Carano will star opposite Bruce Willis in Extraction previous to Deadpool.
Update: Itâs also said Colossus will appear in Deadpool.
Deadpool begins filming in Vancouver in March and has a February 12, 2016 release directed by Tim Miller.
