It was pretty much a given, but now Daniel Bruhl has confirmed he is playing Baron Zemo in Captain America: Civil War.
The German actor confirmed the news with the UKâs Independent.
âI think I can tell you that without being thrown into Marvel prison⊠For the first few days Iâll walk around like a little boy, just amazed by the megalomania of it. Itâs such a huge project. We could do 20 films with the budget.â
Zemo is a son of Nazi scientist with links to Hydra and is leader of the Masters of Evil and The Thunderbolts.
Captain America 3 looks to begin filming any day now and has a May 6, 2016 release directed by the Russo Bros. starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Frank Grillo and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.
