‘Death of a Unicorn’ Trailer Drops: Dark Comedy Stars Jenna Ortega, Paul Rudd

The trailer for Death of a Unicorn, the upcoming dark comedy from A24, has been released. The film, set to release in the Spring of 2025, stars Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, and Richard E. Grant. Written and directed by Alex Scharfman, the movie explores a bizarre and morally charged storyline involving a father and daughter who accidentally kill a unicorn.

Plot Overview

In Death of a Unicorn, a father (Rudd) and daughter (Ortega) are on their way to a weekend retreat when their car hits a unicorn. The retreat, hosted by his billionaire boss (Grant), takes a sinister turn when the mythical creature’s curative properties come to light. The trailer teases themes of greed, family, and morality as characters grapple with the ethical implications of exploiting the unicorn. Things also take a turn when the unicorn’s mate shows up.
