The Penguin Films After Thanksgiving: New Look At Colin Farrell

The Penguin series will be filming after Thanksgiving, and check out a new look at Colin Farrell in the role that follows The Batman movie.

The trades report the series will resume production the week after Thanksgiving following having been shut down in June due to the writers and actors strike when it filmed for three months.

Empire Magazine debuts a new image of Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot with mention the series “will pick up days after where The Batman ended, exploring the moves that Cobblepot makes in the power vacuum left by Carmine Falcone’s departure.” 

The Penguin is also described as “the next chapter in The Batman saga,” and continues to build the myth of Gotham to even greater heights before release of The Batman Part 2, due out Oct. 3, 2025.
