‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ Confirms Unicron Multiverse

In a surprise move, the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie confirms the existence of a multiverse that includes Unicron, the planet-eating Transformers who first debuted in the 1986 animated movie.

Who knows? Maybe that means they are one and the same and that Unicron goes from universe to universe consuming everything in its path.

As part of the film’s promotion, Paramount released some cool character descriptions which are similar to the stats on the back of the toy packaging.

For Unicron, it says, “Unicron uses the energy from the ecosystems he’s ingested to become the most omnipotent force in the multiverse.”

Unicron eats worlds. And he’s always hungry.

Here is the full description:

NAME: UNICRON
DESIGNATION: Devourer of planets.
THREAT LEVEL: To repeat: Unicron eats worlds. And he’s always hungry.
CONVERTS INTO: Unicron uses the energy from the ecosystems he’s ingested to become the most omnipotent force in the multiverse. He’s not exactly a force for good, either.
GENERAL DEMEANOR: As the embodiment of evil, it’s fair to say Unicron isn’t the most understanding of leaders. As the Terrorcons discover, if you fail him in any task, you will pay a harrowing price.
ULTIMATE PURPOSE: Unicron’s primary function is to bring chaos and ruin. Sending Scourge and his team of Terrorcons on a mission to retrieve a key that will open a portal in space and time is merely the start of his abhorrent plans.
COMBAT ABILITIES: Unicron is a deity so large that it can consume entire other worlds – and all life on them.
TRIVIA: As well as having a cosmic hunger, Unicron is also partial to possessing his victims to serve his very many nefarious needs.
