Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially wrapped filming, with director Destin Daniel Cretton sharing a heartfelt post and behind-the-scenes image of himself and Tom Holland on Instagram to mark the occasion.
Spider-Man 4 Officially Wraps Filming
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth MCU Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland, is done shooting.
Cretton confirmed the wrap on Instagram, posting a celebratory photo of himself with Holland, who’s seen grinning and wearing a huge flower lei as the team celebrates the end of production.
The film is set to continue Holland’s Spider-Man story after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Marvel and Sony once again partnering on the project.
Destin Daniel Cretton Praises Cast, Crew And Tom Holland
In his caption, Cretton calls Spider-Man: Brand New Day the biggest and most rewarding film he’s ever worked on.
He thanks his family for keeping him grounded during production, shouting out his partner for holding things down at home and his kids for pulling him away from his phone long enough to build blanket forts in the living room.
Cretton also praises the cast for bringing “beloved characters” to life every day on set and credits the crew for their tireless work, creativity, and sense of humor that kept him laughing through the grind of a massive blockbuster shoot.
When it comes to Tom Holland, Cretton singles him out for his leadership and work ethic, praising the actor’s kindness on and off screen, his fearless performances, and their friendship. He closes the post by officially declaring, “That’s a wrap on Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

With filming complete, Spider-Man: Brand New Day now moves fully into post-production as Marvel Studios and Sony work to finish visual effects, editing, and marketing ahead of release.
The movie is slated to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, positioning it as one of the biggest comic book tentpoles of the year.
With Cretton calling it the most rewarding film of his career and Holland once again leading the charge, expectations will be high for Spidey’s next MCU outing.
