Prime Video has released the first teaser trailer and tease art for Young Sherlock, revealing the premiere date for the upcoming series directed and executive produced by Guy Ritchie.
All eight episodes will debut exclusively on Prime Video on March 4, 2026.
The series stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin as a young Sherlock Holmes in a reimagining of the iconic detective’s early years.

Guy Ritchie’s Take on Sherlock Holmes’ Origins
Young Sherlock charts the origin story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary detective with a tone that mirrors Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes films.
The series is described as irreverent and action-heavy, focusing on a raw, unfiltered Sherlock before he becomes the famed Baker Street sleuth.
Set primarily in 1870s Oxford, the story follows a disgraced young Holmes who becomes entangled in a murder case that threatens his freedom.
What begins as his first investigation spirals into a globe-trotting conspiracy that reshapes his life and sets him on the path toward becoming one of fiction’s most famous detectives.

Alongside Hero Fiennes Tiffin, the previously announced cast includes: Dónal Finn, Zine Tseng, Joseph Fiennes, Natascha McElhone, Max Irons, and Colin Firth.
