Star Trek will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2026 with new series, special partnerships, and events running throughout the year.
Announced on Star Trek Day (Sept. 8, 2025), the milestone will spotlight six decades of cultural influence, beginning with a Rose Parade float on New Year’s Day.
Rose Parade Float
The anniversary kicks off Jan. 1, 2026, with a customized Star Trek float at the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California. The design will highlight the franchise’s themes of hope, inclusivity, exploration, and unity, while also promoting the upcoming Paramount+ series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

Starfleet Academy Series
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy debuts in early 2026. The series follows a new class of cadets navigating friendships, rivalries, and training under demanding instructors. Academy Award winner Holly Hunter stars as the Academy’s Chancellor and Captain of the U.S.S. Athena, while Academy Award nominee Paul Giamatti appears as the season’s villain.

Strange New Worlds
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds wraps its third season on Sept. 11, 2025, with seasons four and five already confirmed for Paramount+.
Partnerships and Campaigns
- DoSomething x Boldly Go Green: A campaign with DoSomething will focus on environmental impact projects in 2026.
- LEGO Collaboration: The Lego Group and Paramount will release the first-ever Star Trek LEGO sets.
- Webtoon Comics: Original Star Trek stories will launch on Webtoon in 2026, reaching over 150 million users.

New Animated Series and Podcast
Two new Star Trek projects debuted on Sept. 8, 2025:
- Star Trek: Scouts: A preschool animated series on YouTube from Nickelodeon Digital Studio. Twenty short episodes will roll out through 2026.
- Star Trek: Khan: A scripted podcast chronicling Khan’s descent on Ceti Alpha V. Naveen Andrews voices Khan, joined by Wrenn Schmidt, Sonya Cassidy, Tim Russ, and George Takei. Episodes release weekly through Nov. 3.

Star Trek: The Cruise 2026
Running Feb. 20–27, 2026, Star Trek: The Cruise will feature William Shatner, Walter Koenig, and more than 20 other actors in a week-long fan event at sea.
