Netflix has released the trailer for Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, the fourth film in the franchise starring Eddie Murphy.
The franchise is a series of action-comedy films that follow the adventures of Detroit cop Axel Foley, portrayed by Murphy. The franchise consists of the three main films that were released first in 1984, then the sequel in 1987 and the third movie in 1994.
Beverly Hills Cop grossed over $316 million; Beverly Hills Cop II around $300 million, and Beverly Hills Cop III made $120 million.
What is Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F about?
Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.
The film gets released the Summer of 2024 directed by Mark Molloy. Jerry Bruckheimer, Eddie Murphy, and Chad Oman are the producers.
Also starring in the movie includes Judge Reinhold, Kevin Bacon, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
