Zack Snyder Once Again Hints At Superman Man of Steel Justice League Movie Connection

The latest issue of Total Film that we previously told you about that contains an interview with Zack Snyder, the director on the new Superman movie, the Man of Steel, once again touches upon a Justice League movie connection.

Cosmic Book News was the first to inform you that the Man of Steel would be spearheading a DC shared Universe, and since then, the Hollywood Reporter has verified the Man of Steel tieing into Justice League movie, in addition to possibly the Batman reboot â€” just as we said.

Getting back to Total Film, Zack Snyder basically reiterates what he stated at the recent San Diego Comic-Con (you can watch Snyder’s reaction to a Justice League movie question from SDCC), in that Superman is basically the crown jewel of the DC Universe, and they will go from there.

Here’s Snyder’s full quote from Total Film Magazine (Via CoventryTelegraph):

“We know Superman is the jewel in the DC crown. We want to get his house in order. And then? Who knows what’s possible…?”

Regarding what’s possible, our source close to DC Entertainment told us that Henry Cavill will play Superman in the Justice League movie.

What’s interesting is that Snyder previously came out and stated that his Superman will not be a part of the Justice League movie, but other than Cosmic Book News exclusively reporting that not to be the case, we now have Snyder open to “what’s possible.”

And it’s also become known that Ben Affleck is a contender to direct Justice League, though apparently there are conflicting reports about Affleck accepting.

We’ve been told the Justice League movie director’s chair is David Yates’ to lose, but he apparently has his sights set on Tarzan.

Stay tuned to Cosmic Book News as more on the Man Of Steel develops.

Man Of Steel flies into theaters June 14th, 2013 directed by Zack Snyder starring, Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Diane Lane as Martha “Ma” Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonat han “Pa” Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as Zod, and Russel Crowe as Jor-El.
