UPDATE: Snyder has done it again. One day before the merger closes, he posted the “Faith, Alfred. Faith.” scene from his Justice League.
Zack Snyder is back on Instagram with more DC.
The director posted production art from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on Wednesday, captioned, “Some amazing production art from BvS.”
The art shows Superman standing in the wreckage, the armored Batman standing over a downed Superman, and Batman facing Doomsday in the flames.
The post passed 11,000 likes in under half an hour.
It follows Snyder celebrating Batman Day with Batfleck earlier this month, a post that had fans begging for Justice League 2 and 3.
‘The SnyderVerse Needs To Be Completed’
The comments went the same way this time.
“The Golden Era of Our DC,” reads one of the top replies, followed by the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse hashtag.
“The SnyderVerse needs to be completed,” says another of the most-liked comments.
One fan told Snyder, “Somehow you’re the only director who manages to capture what the concept art did, doing it, well, justice.”
Another kept it simple: “Great era with Zero use of Ai Slop.”

The Armored Batman Comes Straight From The Dark Knight Returns
Look at the middle image again.
The armored batsuit, and Batman standing over a beaten Superman, come straight out of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.
Snyder put the graphic novel’s showdown on the big screen in Batman v Superman.
On Tuesday, our insiders said Paramount-Warner is looking at The Dark Knight Returns as a two-part event movie, adapting Miller’s graphic novel with no changes.
Snyder already has the movie storyboarded “as-is,” and our insiders say the plan includes Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.
Cavill just showed off the return of the mustache while announcing he is building a video game with Google, with Google itself teasing, “We think it’s going to be super.”
Gal Gadot has already given her answer: “If Zack comes back to run DC, I’ll come back.”
The $111 billion Paramount-Warner merger is expected to close within days.
Earlier this month it was Batfleck on Batman Day. Today it’s Batman standing over Superman.
