It’s being reported that Fox Studios is developing an X-Men Vs. Fantastic Four movie.
Fox Studios currently owns the rights to Marvel’s X-Men properties as well as Fantastic Four.
Bryan Singer has X-Men: Days Of Future Past coming out next year with X-Men: Apocalypse out in 2016.
Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot is set for 2015 as well.
Now a new report from the investor’s website Motley Fool states Fox is developing an X-Men Vs. Fantastic Four movie.
While the pairing might at first sound a bit strange, the two have battled previously in the Marvel comic books back in 1987, which is said to be basis for the movie surrounding the Fantastic Four’s origin and Kitty Pryde.
It’s said the X-Men Vs. Fantastic Four movie would be “an Avengers-style movie that could pay off huge for shareholders.”
Update: Looks like this all might be nothing but hype as the writer of the MF article amended his original to state he relied on a different site’s article that was full of speculation and misquotes.
