A Trask Industries mutant inhibitor collar has been revealed for X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

Peter Dinklage will be playing Bolivar Trask, the man behind the collars and the Sentinel program.

We learn from the viral website Trask-Industries.com that Trask first creates the Sentinels in 1973 with an updated version, Mark X, in 2020.

More than likely the Sentinels we have been seeing in set pics are of the 1973 design, with the yet to be revealed Mark X being their larger CGI counterparts that comic fans come to expect.

It’s also revealed that one of Trask’s first inventions is a “mutant detection device” that can scan brain waves for presence of the mutant X-gene.

Footage from X-Men: Days Of Future Past was screened recently with a batch of leaked images hitting the net.

X-Men: Days of Future Past has a May 23, 2014 release date starring Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page,ShawnAshmore, Hugh Jackman reprising as Wolverine, returning cast members Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan, with Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask.

Inhibitor Collar

Using the principles of the MDD, Trask’s applied physicists and geneticists went on to develop the X-Gene Inhibitor Collar, a Trask-proprietary containment measure. The fitted device can be worn by individuals exhibiting pathological mutant gene expression and can be used to control dangerous impulses or actions.
