The Wolverine Trailer Not Attached To The Hobbit; First Footage In 2013

Contrary to what previously has been reported, the first The Wolverine trailer will not be attached to The Hobbit.

Director James Mangold let the information be known, debunking the news via Twitter:

Contrary to reports, there will be no trailer on THE HOBBIT for THE WOLVERINE. You will get a glimpse early 2013. I promise.

It was said that The Wolverine was attached with The Hobbit from the same website that reportedly released the synopsis for The Wolverine, and they also stated that a rumored trailer for Stark Trek Into Darkness said to run with non-IMAX showings of The Hobbit was false.

Hopefully their news on that is incorrect as well and we’ll get a 2D Star Trek Into Darkess trailer with different footage than the IMAX version.

The Wolverine has a July 26th, 2013 release date, is being directed by James Mangold, stars Hugh Jackman, with Christopher McQuarrie and Mark Bomback on a script adapted from Frank Miller and Christopher Claremont’s comic arc from 1982.
