The Marvel’s Wolverine credits are rolling, and they settle a two-year argument. Sweet Baby Inc is in the game, by name, with ten credited people.
A post from Gazz showing the credit block cleared 166,000 views Monday night, hours before today’s launch.
“Sweet Baby Inc is actually credited in Insomniac’s Wolverine,” he wrote. “They knew crediting them would make things even worse and they still did it anyway.”
He went further: “This might be the most ridiculous studio downfall I’ve ever seen. It’s like they didn’t even want the game to succeed.”
The viral image pairs the credits with an in-game shot of Logan standing in front of a rainbow flag.
“Their Job Was FEEDBACK”
The credit block lists Sweet Baby CEO Kim Belair as Story Consultant, two Narrative Producers, four Narrative Consultants, two Cultural & Narrative Consultants, and a Studio Manager.
Ten names total. That headcount is what set Grummz off.
“Look at HOW MANY people they paid to ‘consult,'” he wrote. “How in the heck do you need 10 people to just read the story and give their advice? They were not even the principle writers. Their job was FEEDBACK.”
Grummz continued, “They had to have THREE managers on this. To do what? This is why AAA is a bloated mess.”
He’s right that they weren’t the principal writers. The story was led by narrative director Walt Williams, the Spec Ops: The Line writer behind the game’s Sabretooth scene.

Two Years Later, It’s Official
CBN readers have seen this coming since June 2024, when Sweet Baby’s involvement first surfaced through the firm’s own tweets and an Insomniac narrative director who defended the company.
That’s the same firm attached to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the game that cost Warner Bros. $200 million.
Back then, it was an inference from leaks. Now it’s in the credits.
The confirmation lands on top of a launch window already full of fights, from the “AAA ugly stick” trailer pile-on to a 77 on Metacritic, none of which moved the game out of the PlayStation Store’s top three pre-orders.
Marvel’s Wolverine is out today, exclusively on PS5. The rumor is retired. The argument isn’t.
