The Walking Dead Spinoff Casts Lead Character

The male lead role in The Walking Dead companion spinoff series has been cast with Cliff Curtis (Gang Related, Sunshine).

Curtis will play a character that is described as a father who’s trying do to the right thing.

Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey were recently announced to have roles as well.

Not much is known about The Walking Dead spinoff; it will be set in the same zombie apocalypse as the curent AMC series, but in a different location.

It’s even been said the series may be featured at a different time, with mention made either right before or right when the zombie apocalypse begins.

Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson are writing the pilot.
