Walking Dead Apologizes For Spoiling Sunday’s Episode

Last night AMC aired the mid-season 5 finale of The Walking Dead, which featured a major character’s death.

The Walking Dead Facebook page managed to spoil the episode for not only those on the West Coast that hadn’t seen it, but also for those East Coasters whom may have DVR’d it.

The Walking Dead Facebook page posted the Daryl and Beth spoiler image at 9:59pm according to the post’s timestamp.

Now the page has offered the following apology for their actions:

We heard your feedback to last night’s post, and we’re sorry. With zero negative intent, we jumped the gun and put up a spoiler. Please know we’re going to work to ensure that, in the future, possible spoilers by official AMC social feeds are killed before they can infect, certainly before the West Coast (U.S.) broadcast of The Walking Dead.
