The Walking Dead: AMC Announces 16 Episodes For Season 3

Earlier today at the Television Critics Association (TCA) Press Tour, AMC announced that Season Three of The Walking Dead will have a total of 16 episodes.

That’s three more than this year, and Season Three will be structured similar to Season 2 as well, meaning a split season.

The Walking Dead is based on the Image Comics graphic novel of the same name and created by Robert Kirkman. 

We met and spoke with Robert at the recent NYCC, and I gotta say he is one heck of a nice guy. He arrived at the con late, but made sure he stayed until he signed for everyone.

The second half of The Walking Dead returns on Sunday February 12th at pm ET on AMC.
