Viggo Mortensen Back On Superman: The Man of Steel (2012)?

A few days ago, Zack Snyder informed us that Viggo Mortensen would not be appearing in his Superman reboot.

Variety informs us that things change.

Mortensen was up for a role in Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, which is to shoot at the same time as Superman.

Now, Variety reports that Mortensen is no longer attached to the leading role for Snow White, leaving the door open for Superman – and that director Zack Snyder is still interested.

We just might see Henry Cavill kneel before Viggo Mortensen, after all! Edgar Ramirez and Michael Shannon have been reported as up for roles as villains, as well.
