Transformers: Dark of the Moon: Sentinel Prime, Megatron and Ark Action Figures

Entertainment Weekly released some action figure images from the upcoming Michael Bay Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie which shed some light on recent trailers we have seen.

We see Sentinel Prime; the “ark” which many thought to be Omega Supreme; and a version of Megatron.

The Megatron we have seen before in leaked photos. Note: EW states, similar to what I previously mentioned, that this Megatron would be starting the movie nursing his wounds and hiding out in the jungles of Africa. I just hope he’s not like that throughout the entire show. I included the set photo, as well.

The “Ark” is actually what we 80s fans saw with the Autobot ship/base that crashed into the mountain. However, in Dark of the Moon, it is Sentinel Prime’s “living tomb.” Pic from the movie and from the original Cartoon included.

And then there is Optimus Prime’s predecessor – Sentintel Prime! Looks cool!

I’ll say it again – I just hope these toys are made well. The previous Transfromers we have seen from the different movies and animated toons are pretty much garabage. They’re flimsy and fall apart when transforming – and I refuse to buy them.

Here’s the trailer that was released at the Super Bowl and director Michael Bay stated this one wasn’t going to suck either. After viewing, I have to agree!

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon hits theaters July 1st, 2011 directed by Michael Bay and starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk and John Malkovich.
