Christopher Eccleston is currently filming in London for his character, Malekith the Accursed, the villain of Thor 2, “The Dark World.”
Eccleston was also the “first” Doctor Who with the relaunch in 2005 and he only stayed on for one season with David Tennant coming on board thereafter.
However, the ninth Doctor did amass quite the fan-following and is still considered a favorite by a lot of Doctor Who fans out there.
With next year being the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, and it being said that past Doctors will (or won’t) be featured, will Christopher Eccleston make an appearance?
If Eccleston’s big smile is anything to go by — quite possibly.
Eccleston starts off similar to what we heard David Tennant say when questioned about appearing in that — he can’t say, but Eccleston continues when asked how they would do it, that he hasn’t really hasn’t thought about it.
“Would I like to be involved? If I told you that, I’d have to shoot you,” Eccleston told RedCarpetNewsTV with a big smile.
And when questioned how they would do the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary offered, “I’ve not even thought about it. It’s so long ago for me that I haven’t even thought about it.”
