Now this is something really cool to come out of the Comic-Con.
Thomas Jane and Phil Joanou put together an unofficial Punisher movie short, “Dirty Laundry,” at this past weekend’s Comic-Con.
They debuted the footage during Jane’s Raw Studios Panel, and Ron Perlman even makes a cameo as well.
My understanding it that it doesn’t step on any “toes” because it’s considered a fan film i.e. non-commercial etc. etc.
There is even Punisher art they created for “Dirty Laundry” as well – see right (via The Collider).
And Jane and Raw Studios have a new six issue graphic novel coming out, “Bad Planet Volume 2,” by Incredible Hulk scribe Bruce Jones.

“I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.” — Thomas Jane
